Frequently asked questions
What is the HSKK exam?
HSKK (Hanyu Shuiping Kouyu Kaoshi) is the official test of spoken Chinese, offered at three levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. It is a separate exam from the HSK and is often required alongside it for scholarships and university admission.
I am a complete beginner and cannot form full sentences yet. Can I still use it?
Yes. The app includes a Sentence Builder that suggests how to build a sentence before you speak, plus a listen-and-repeat mode so you can shadow a model answer. In voice chat you always have answer hints, and you can type instead of speaking until you feel confident.
Does it cover HSK too, or only HSKK?
Both. Alongside HSKK Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced, the app has HSK 3–6 exam papers with audio and answers, HSK 3 to HSK 9 vocabulary, grammar practice and HSK writing marked by AI.
